This exhibition features works created between 2022 and 2024, some completed in New York City, others in Taipei, primarily using acrylic on linen, with brushes, palette knives, and even fingers.

Over the past decade, I have lived and painted in several countries. My life has been like a romantic adventure, navigating different cultures like a modern-day Gulliver. My dream has always been to become a painter.

Since I was a child, I would sit next to my grandfather, immersed in the world of colors and lines, passionately expressing myself through art. Diverse art education has always been a crucial part of my growth.

In the summer of 2022, I created a character with fingertip-like features, three fingers, and toes. This character traverses different worlds and scenes, poetically interpreting  “love”  in a surreal way. My work goes beyond mere depiction, focusing on the underlying meanings and stories.

Living abroad feels like a travel journal, with inspiration from daily moments. Each color on the palette represents a unique sensation. I often find that the tactile experience of painting is overshadowed by cultural education and trends, limiting pure feelings. However, by adjusting my mindset to embrace this chemical process, I’ve opened new doors. When the mind’s door is open, choices become diverse, with no right or wrong, only different perspectives. In this pure realm, the main expression is forgotten emotions and viewpoints.

Through artwork, I aim to capture and convey these subtle, pure feelings, inviting viewers to join me on a journey of exploration and discovery.

這次展覽的作品涵蓋了 2022 至 2024 年間創作的系列，其中一部分在紐約市完成，其他則在台北市完成，主要使用壓克力顏料在亞麻布上作畫，經常使用畫筆、調色刀，甚至是運用手指來繪畫。

近十年以來，我曾在多個國家生活和作畫。生活宛如一場浪漫的冒險，在不同的文化中穿梭，就像現代版的格列佛 。我的夢想一直是成為一名畫家，從小時候起，時常坐在外祖父旁邊，我們各自沉浸在色彩和線條的世界中，通過藝術熱情地表達自己。成長過程中接受多元藝術教育 一直都是我最重視的一部分。

2022 的夏天時，我創造了一個角色，他/她擁有指尖般的容顏，三隻手指和腳趾。這個角色穿梭於不同的世界和場景，以超現實的方式詮釋「愛」的詩意。

我的作品已經不僅僅是描繪圖像，而是著重於它們背後的故事及意義。

旅外生活像一本旅行記錄，靈感來自於日常的瞬間。調色板中的每一種顏色都代表著一種獨特的感觀。旅程中，繪畫的觸覺體驗常常被文化教育及流行趨勢所掩蓋，限制了最純粹的感受。然而，通過調整心態來擁抱這種化學過程，讓我開啟了另一扇門。當心靈之門敞開時，選擇變得多樣化，沒有對錯，只有不同的視角。在這個純粹的領域中，主要表達被遺忘的情感和觀點。
